To all the college students...

To all the college students, I know it's tough. I know it's annoying too. The continous classes, loads of assignments, the tests, presentations and in addition to that, the society work. It gets too much after a while and there is this continous feeling that, 'I am not doing enough'. Well, I would like to tell you that you are doing MORE than enough and I am so proud of you. Don't underestimate or demoralise yourself. This semester has been very difficult in terms of academics and I get that, but when it finally does get over, imagine how happy you will be, how proud, that YOU DID IT! Don't stress over something which is temporary. Take a breather and give yourself a nice break. Watch some Netflix and eat some yummy, junk food. Don't worry, this shall pass too. It has to and you are doing great. Just breathe for a while and relax.  And, one last thing, if there is anyone around you who makes fun of the fact that you are getting stressed because of the work l...

Angels in Paradise

In December 2019, I went to Andamans for the first time. Just recalling it makes me so happy, especially during this lockdown period.  It was a delightful, beautiful vacation. The beaches in Havelock and Neil Island were absolutely striking, whereas, the adventure revolving the Jarawas was quite thrilling, but most of all, the people of Andamans caught my attention.  As I was changing locations and moving from one island to another every other day, I naturally met a lot of people from the tourism sector. These people were from different parts of India and were away from their families to earn a living. Few hotel workers used to sleep on the sofas in the lobby after the guests had checked in for the night and on the other hand, the taxi drivers made their cars home for a good night's slumber.  After facing these hardships and probably a lot more, these workers still had a huge smile on their face.
